Thirty-Six Years

As of 3:15 P.M. today, Mr. AOW and I have been married for thirty-six years.

Have there been bumps in the road? Yes, because sharing living space and finances with another living creature often results in disagreements, including some vociferous arguments causing neighbors to look over our way. And health problems and aging do change us to a certain extent.

But none of the bumps in the road which Mr. AOW and I share have been as serious as the troubles other couples have faced.

Luck has nothing to do with the success of our relationship. Rather, choosing a mate with character has been the key for us.
