Memorial Day

Information about the above video below the fold:

On September 21st, 2007, my grandfather, Ernest Wilson McGeorge, who was a Lieutenant in France during WWII, was laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery. I edited the video and photographic footage of that service into this memorial for him.

For those curious, the video uses the song Chi Mi Na Mór-Bheanna performed by The Rankin Family. It is a Scottish Gaelic song about returning to an idyllic homeland. (Ernest is of Scottish descent.) Among other connections, it was sung at JFK's memorial service. I sung this at Ernest's graveside during the service.
Remember to observe Memorial Day as more than merely a time of boisterous and joyful gatherings. Suggestions HERE. One of those suggestions:
At 3 p.m....pause and think upon the true meaning of the day...
