Thinking Bloggers

Both Angel and Benning were so gracious as to bestow upon me the Thinking Blogger Award. Thank you! Now I have the privilege of announcing the awardees I have chosen to receive this award. But, first, the rules of participation.

Rules of participation

Should you choose to participate, please make sure you pass this list of rules to the blogs you are tagging. The participation rules are simple:

1. If, and only if, you get tagged, write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think.

2. Link to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of the meme and know you thinks so highly of you!

3. Optional: Proudly display the ‘Thinking Blogger Award’ with a link to the post that you wrote.
Here are the five recipients I have chosen:

1. Mustang — My best cyberfriend doesn't post as often as I'd like. But when he does, his essays make me say, "Wow!"

2. GM Roper — A cancer survivor, his posts have gotten even better since his diagnosis and remission (as if improvement in his commentary were possible).

3. Beak — This exposer of the far left knows how to make his blog fun to read, too, with features such as interviews, satires, book reviews, book serializations, and cyber-roasts.

4. American Crusader — He focuses on those who desire to undermine Western civilization. When he took a brief hiatus last year, I missed him terribly.

5. Seth — Conservative to the core and giving no quarter to liberals, he writes pithy commentary. His comments are just as pointed as his front-and-center posts.

The only problem I had with deciding these awards was paring down my list to five recipients. I tried to choose a few names with which my regular commenters here might not be familiar.

If I didn't mention you, please don't be offended!
