Draw-Mohammed-Day Cartoonist Changes Identity

Never mind that Molly Norris had backtracked and disavowed the idea of draw Mohammed day as she never meant to insult Moslems.

Well, Moslems don't accept apologies for insulting their so-called prophet.

From Weasel Zippers, citing the Seattle Times (hat tip to Infidel Bloggers Alliance):

You may have noticed that Molly Norris’ comic is not in the paper this week. That’s because there is no more Molly.

The gifted artist is alive and well, thankfully. But on the insistence of top security specialists at the FBI, she is, as they put it, “going ghost”: moving, changing her name, and essentially wiping away her identity.

She will no longer be publishing cartoons in our paper or in City Arts magazine, where she has been a regular contributor.

She is, in effect, being put into a witness-protection program—except, as she notes, without the government picking up the tab.

It’s all because of the appalling fatwa issued against her this summer, following her infamous “Everybody Draw Mohammed Day” cartoon....
Another cartoonifada!

Once again, the religion of peace proves that it is not peaceful, nor does Islam allow for freedom of expression, particularly if that freedom of expression is perceived as insulting Islam, Mohammed, the Koran, Moslems. Etcetera, etcetera, etcetera, to the point of all things Islamic, including naming a nightclub "La Meca"; read the information about the night club at Tea and Politics.

Remember these words of Pastor Martin Niemöller (1892–1984):
They came first for the Communists,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew.

Then they came for me
and by that time no one was left to speak up.

Islamic Terror Threat At Logans Warning

The text of the threat, left in a comment thread can be read HERE, following Everybody Draw Mohammed Day on May 20. Warning! Vile language!

Christopher of Logans Warning forwarded the threat and the IP address to the FBI.

What is it with Moslems and CARTOONS?

Um, never mind. They simply must rush to aid of their pedophile prophet if they even PERCEIVE ridicule.

I say: Ridicule MTP all the more. Heh.

A little personal anecdote below the fold.

Way back when, when I was ranting on and on about the threat of Islam, Mr. AOW looked at me as if I had three heads. Then, when I told him about the Motoons, he said, "Shouldn't insult a person's religion." Mr. AOW's tune changed when Moslems broke out into a cartoonifada, at which point Mr. AOW said, incredulously, "Over a bunch of CARTOONS? Get over it!"

My point: The more ruckus that Moslems raise over CARTOONS, the quicker the general population of the West will wake up.

Muhammed: A Cult Leader

I'm still running on a tight schedule and have little time to post right now, but I'd like to recommend this posting by Cassandra (USA), author of the book Escape! From an Arab Marriage: Horror Stories of Women Who Fled from Abusive Muslim Husbands. Excerpt from her recent posting at No Slaves of Allah in America:
From Understanding Muhammad: A Psychobiography of Allâh's Prophet

We are often taken aback by the level of fanaticism of Muslims. Millions of them riot, burn churches, and kill completely innocent people because a newspaper has published a few cartoons of Muhammad or because the Pope has quoted a medieval emperor saying that violence is not compatible with the nature of God.

People generally are biased towards a belief system that has this many followers. They believe that the sheer size of Islam qualifies it as a religion. But is Islam really a religion?

Some say all religions start as a cult until, with the passage of time, they gradually gain acceptance and the status of religion. However, there are certain characteristics that distinguish cults from religions. Dr. Janja Lalich and Dr. Michael D. Langone have created a list that describes cults fairly well.[1] The more a group or a doctrine has these characteristics the more it follows that it should be defined and labeled as a cult. The following is that list, which I have compared Islam to point by point....

Note: On February 15, 2008, Cassandra will again be our guest on The Gathering Storm Radio Show, for a ninety-minute show. Watch for the announcement of the topic closer to the date!
