But not only that: ATFP President Ziad Asali is an America-basher who blamed 9/11 on U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East. Asali was a lead U.S. official to PLO terrorist Yassir Arafat's funeral in 2004. And in a position paper in 2007, the ATFP called for a power-sharing agreement at the Palestinian Authority, which would have included the State Department's designated-terrorist group, Hamas.

A little something the lamestream media is avoiding telling about Salahi. Heh.

Major Malik Nidal Hasan On BHO's Transition Team?

Malik Nidal Hasan, the alleged shooter in the massacre that resulted in at least 12 dead and 31 wounded at Fort Hood [on November 5], served on the Homeland Security Policy Institute’s presidential transition task force between April 2008 and January 2009 when Barack Obama was inaugurated as the nation’s 44th president.

The task force was not officially affiliated with the White House. It was a project of the Homeland Security Policy Institute, an independent thinktank housed at George Washington University, aimed at drafting policy recommendations for the incoming Obama administration.

Law enforcement officials became aware of Hasan at least six months ago after "internet postings that discussed suicide bombings and other threats," according to AP.

So far, it appears that Hasan was a lone-wolf jihadist. In many respects, the lone jihadist poses a grave danger.

Just imagine if one were to shoot up a crowded shopping mall! Or a school!

Would our leaders then wake up as to the motive?

At the moment, Hasan's murder spree is being classified as one with unknown motive. Pfffft! According to eyewitness accounts, Hasan shouted "Allahu akbar!" when he opened fire.

Of course, shortly after 9/11, we heard a lot about "What is the motive?" Pffffft, again!

Here in Northern Virginia, we're getting a lot of local media coverage on Hasan as he was born and reared here in Northern Virginia. Would not that mean that Hasan should have been a moderate Moslem, a Westernized Muslim? Well, apparently he was not.

Jihad Watch has additional information about Hasan's upbringing as a lifelong Moslem.

Now we have a lot of dead people, their deaths the direct result of Hasan's planned-in-advance actions. Those actions were based on the tenets of Islam.

Continues political correctness will get a lot of Americans killed! Special screening of Moslems in the West is imperative.

The Idiocy Of Political Correctness

LOS ANGELES — A Southern California immigrant rights group on Friday asked the Target store chain and a costume company to stop selling an "illegal alien" Halloween costume it said is offensive to immigrants.

Target is removing the costume from the site after receiving several complaints, company spokesman Joshua Thomas said Friday. The store never intended to sell the outfit but included it in its online offerings by mistake, he said.

Actually, I find the costume rather amusing. Perhaps I have a warped sense of humor.

This costume, on the other hand, hasn't caused a flap. Yet. Why not?

Besides, I thought that Halloween was supposed to be FUN.

I recall the family story about when my uncle somehow got the cow upstairs to the principal's office and left her there overnight. This prank was played in the 1930s, and my uncle's punishment was the cleanup, which took him an entire day. No suspension from school was imposed. I guess that those days are gone forever.

Red Cross Insults Islam

Calls for Red Cross symbol to be axed over links to the Crusades

A Labour minister has sparked controversy by claiming that an alternative symbol is needed for the Red Cross because of the logo's supposed links to the Crusades.

Foreign Office minister Chris Bryant said that the historic emblem risked undermining the work of the humanitarian organisation.

His intervention came as MPs debated the adoption of the 'red crystal' - a diamond-shaped badge - to avoid the religious connotations of the cross and crescent symbols currently used by the international body.

The article in Mail Online continues:

The founding Conference of the Red Cross Movement in 1863 adopted a red cross on a white background – the reverse of the Swiss flag – as the emblem of the voluntary medical personnel who assisted the wounded on the battlefield.

It was never intended to have any religious meaning and is thought to have been intended as a tribute to traditionally neutral Switzerland, which hosted the conference.

However, the symbol unintentionally raised suggestions that it was somehow linked to the Hospitallers, a military order which took part in the Crusades, the centuries long series of military campaigns waged by Christians from Europe.

Subsequently, a red crescent emblem was adopted in tandem.

Mr Bryant told the Commons: 'The reference to the Crusades is... not lost to some people which, of course, anybody involved in the Red Cross would wholly deprecate.

'The truth of the matter is that it has been difficult in some places for us to ensure that these connotations of a religious war or a religious crusade don't undermine the work that the Red Cross or Red Crescent is able to do.'

The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement hope that the neutrality of the red crystal will help improve protection for casualties, military medical services and humanitarian workers....

The Red Cross may be replaced by the crystal. Will the same standard apply to replacing the Red Crescent. We note that the Red Crescent has already replaced the Red Cross in Islamic nations.

CNN Notices Jihad Watch

I wasn't planning to post today. It's past time for me to make some serious blog rounds, now that I'm no longer in pause mode. But this can't go without mention. Excerpt:

"Words matter": Homeland Security rolls out newspeak campaign, cautions against use of terms like "jihadists," "Islamic terrorists," "Islamists" and "holy warriors"

Again, we see the argument that using those terms somehow "legitimizes" or "aggrandizes" the jihadist movement. But honestly, is the public deflection of the Islamic aspect of Islamic jihad going to hinder jihadists from making the connection, or will it hinder ordinary citizens seeking information? Obviously, it will be the latter. And when the public is discouraged from understanding the jihadist enemy's ideology, whom does that ultimately help?

"There are two legitimate sides to wars?" Baloney. The Nazis didn't have a legitimate cause in World War II. Recognizing a threat is not an endorsement of its existence.

Protecting A UK "Asian"

"Asian" is the Twenty-first Century code word for Muslim, of course.

For over seven months, Jamie Bauld, who has Down's Syndrome and the mental age of five, was investigated for assault and the crime of racial hate after a minor incident on a school campus.

Excerpt from this article at the Times Online:

Jamie, 18, cannot tie his shoelaces or leave home on his own, nor can he understand simple verbal concepts such as whether a door is open or shut. But his parents said that he was charged with attacking a fellow student, an Asian girl who also had special needs.

The incident in question took place last September at the special needs department of Motherwell College, in Lanarkshire, where Jamie is a student. Fiona Bauld, Jamie’s mother and full-time carer, claimed that the Asian student, who is only slightly older than Jamie, had been following her son and staring at him. Jamie had earlier complained to his parents that her behaviour scared him, and they had advised him just to walk away.

But one day, his mother said, the girl came close up to Jamie as he was eating lunch. He pushed her with one hand and told her to go away....

Not an unusual action from one with Down's Syndrome, but his rejection of her led to charges of lawbreaking, in part because the "Asian" girl

had scratched her own face to mark it and referred to herself as “blackface”.

The police at first told the Baulds that no legal consequences would occur.

That's not how the situation worked out.

For over seven months, Jamie and his parents endured the legal ordeal. Finally, the charges were dismissed:

Mrs Bauld said: “The incident was blown out of all proportion. I can’t believe that two special needs people should be dealt with like this. The whole thing was handled so badly.”

Apparently, Jamie's mental age isn't enough to prevent an insulted Muslim from finding a way to make an infidel's life miserable. After all, an infidel touched a muslima. Can't have that!

The fear and anxiety which Jamie endured are inexcusable. Jamie did understand that he was in some kind of trouble. From this article in the Daily Mail:

[O]ne night shortly after Christmas, as the family watched TV, Fiona realised to her horror that Jamie was not as oblivious as she'd hoped.

A scene featuring a prison appeared on screen, at which point Jamie said quietly: "I don't want to go to jail, Mum. Please don't let them take me away." He then burst into tears.

"I rushed over, put my arms around him and told him everything was going to be fine," says Fiona.

"All through this nightmare I've done my best to put on a smile and act normally around Jamie, simply to protect him from everything that was happening. But that night, as he sobbed in my arms, I wasn't sure everything would be OK.

"My worst fear was that Jamie would be taken away somewhere that I wouldn't be able to protect him. I said: 'Jamie, you're not going to prison', but I found myself in tears, too."

When Fiona - who lives in Cumbernauld, Lanarkshire, with her husband James, 46, a telecommunications contractor, and their daughter Stephanie, 17 - uses the word "nightmare" she is making no understatement.

It is the insane climate of political correctness which led to a legal and emotional situation which should never have transpired at all.

Mohammed The Mole No More

Kes Gray's children's book Who's Poorly Too has been in publication for some eight years and has reported sales of over 40,000 copies. Not exactly a runaway bestseller. Now, because of the recent controversy over Muhammad the Bear, Mr. Gray, in an act termed by some as "self-censorship," will postpone the reprint of the children's book until the mole's name can be changed.

LONDON: First there was Mohammed the Mole and Dipak the Dalmatian . Now there is Morgan the Mole and Dipak the Dalmatian . A British children's author who named his fictitious mole Mohammed and the dog Dipak in an attempt to promote multi-culturalism, has backed away from the first for fear of offending Muslims.

Author Kes Gray said he changed the mole's name after reading about the fate of British school teacher Gillian Gibbons who is in prison in Sudan for allowing her class to name a teddy bear Mohammed.

Gray told The Sunday Times , London that he "had no idea at all of the sensitivities of the name Mohammed until seeing this case in Sudan" and he added that the Hindu and Muslim names for his animals characters had merely been a way to "embrace other cultures...I had no idea it would backfire like this. I was in Egypt this year and everyone was called Mohammed. I just thought it was a popular name".

Apparently, teddy bears themselves don't seem to bother Muslims, particularly if the toys are named after a prophet other than Muhammad — or something like that — because the article in the Times of India concludes as follows:

...10,000 teddies, named Adam the Muslim Prayer Bear, were reportedly bought by Muslim families in Britain to raise money for Sudanese refugees. Adam bear's name is that of another prophet of Islam and at £ 15 a piece, he recites Assalam-o-alaikum when his paws are pressed.

The bears, marketed by the Islamic Society of Britain, to raise funds for charity, have not sparked unease or complaints in the three years they have been sold.

Adam is the name of a Prophet (as), just like Muhammad is a name of the last Prophet (s)....I’d just like to say that there is absolutely nothing wrong in naming a teddy bear Muhammad. I do not agree with what the news is reporting about the incident and what they say the Sudanese protesters are saying. I also believe that there is more to the protests, because who in God’s name would care if a teddy bear was named Muhammad or Adam or Moses or Abraham or Jesus. I mean seriously! You got to be kidding me....

This whole debacle pertaining to the teddy bear is just plain silly. This shows a real lack of confidence and a victim mentality with us Muslims. We jumpt at everything and see offence in every corner now.
I was really surprised when I heard about this and feel sad for the poor teacher. Muslims in UK should do something for her when she gets back there if the Sudanese do not straighten this out.
