Prophetic Video

Especially since the firing of Juan Williams by NPR (hat tip to Creeping Sharia) and the recent blacklisting of science fiction writer Elizabeth Moon, as well as the case of U.S. cartoonist Molly Norris:

The above video was made in 2007.

Check out this story about "Asian" sexual redators (hat tip to Karen). Mustn't use the word "Pakistanis" in the headline!

How far down the slides of dhimmitude and political correctness we have gone!

Video: How Liberals Argue

Instead of posting about election results, I've decided to post the following video, which I spotted last week at Weasel Zippers:

Having had the experience of trying to have a rational argument with a liberal, the above video really struck a chord with me.

How many fallacies in argumentation can you spot in the above video? A list of fallacies can be found HERE.

In my view, our education has a desperate need for classes in policy debate. Lincoln-Douglas Debate teaches good skills too but is not as objective in approach.

Sometimes You Have To Smile

Look where the bedbug epidemic is now.

The EPA and Customs and Border Protection have offices in the same building.

Poetic justice?

Pest control was due to deal with the problem yesterday, five days after the critters were discovered in the building.

In late September, a Maryland public library had an infestation of bedbugs.

Meanwhile, the invasion of stinkbugs continues apace. The six-legged, brown-marmorated variety of stinkbug. The two-legged stinkbugs are found mainly on the campaign trail now through November 2. Heh.

Musical Interlude

Music with a political message. Thanks, Warren!

Weekend Humor

(If you must have politics without humor, please scroll down)

With a hat tip to Z! for making me aware of the poem below:

I do not like this Uncle Sam, I do not like his health care scam.
I do not like these dirty crooks, or how they lie and cook the books.
I do not like when Congress steals,
I do not like their secret deals.
I do not like this speaker Nan,
I do not like this 'YES WE CAN'.
I do not like this spending spree,
I'm smart, I know that nothing's free,
I do not like your smug replies, when I complain about your lies.
I do not like this kind of hope.
I do not like it you BIG Dope.
I do not like it NOPE, NOPE, NOPE!

Read about Dr. Seuss below the fold.

Before there was The Cat in the Hat, Theodor Geisel (aka Dr. Seuss) drew over 400 political cartoons. His many cartoons focus on World War II and the major political players during the wartime era, including Roosevelt, Hitler, Mussolini, Phillipe Petain, and Winston Churchill.

[...]

Starting in 1942, Seuss put even more energy into supporting the U.S. war effort. He drew posters, akin to his political cartoons, for the Treasury Department and the War Production Board. In 1943 he joined Frank Capra's Signal Corps and began making movies for the Army, including an animated short in his usual style titled "Private Snafu." This marks the end of Seuss' career as a political cartoonist. [source]
So, of course, Dr. Seuss didn't really write the poem in this post. HERE is the claimed author.

Would Dr. Seuss have penned the above poem? You decide by reading these two links.

Weekend Funny: About Obama's words, "So I know whose ass to kick"

With thanks to Reliapundit of THE ASTUTE BLOGGERS for the graphic below.

Full BHO quotation HERE at Hot Air. Also see Allah Pundit's pithy commentary at that same link.

Video of BHO's temper tantrum HERE.

As a commenter at Infidel Bloggers Alliance said in reference to the last words of BHO's quotation at the above link:

"Start with your own."

Below the fold, a link to CBS's poll "Grade Obama's First Year."

View the poll HERE. Straight F's the last time I checked.

Epic fail, huh?

Your Weekend Political Cartoon (Plus Obama Girl Video)

Wry humor from Nate Beeler (Click on the image to enlarge it):

Does America see the deficit-driven conflagration coming? Or is America lulled by the dulcet tones and empty promises of BHO's State of the Union Address?

Hat tip to Infidel Bloggers Alliance for the following video, a bit of a surprise if you haven't previously seen the clip. Even the Obama Girl is becoming disenchanted, i.e., voter remorse:

How many other BHO supporters are feeling the same way right now?

Your Weekend Graphic (With Essay And Video)

From Nate Beeler at the Washington Examiner:

Related reading, an excerpt from "What Will It Take?" - an essay by GM Roper - is below the fold.

What will it take for the Democrats to realize that they are in the same precarious position that the Republicans were in during the run-up to the 2006 elections?

[...]

The people have spoken (via elections and Tea Party protests) and they have spoken loud enough for the Democrats to hear. If they will.
Read GM's entire essay HERE.

Perhaps you have seen the video below. It has appeared at many web sites, particularly since Tuesday's election results in Massachusetts. For your convenience, I'm posting the video here at Always On Watch.

As significant as that that video is, the blurb for the video is of even more significance. A portion of that blurb is posted below the video.

Excerpt from the YouTube blurb for the above video:
I had stopped the comments on this video for many reasons, for example: racist rants, death threats, calling out for murder, accusing me of things that are just not true (as if you liberals somehow have ESP and know what I am all about.)...
Read the rest of the blurb HERE.

America today is divided in an ugly manner. Clearly, BHO is not the great uniter.

An Unusual Post

Unusual, in that I typically don't construct my posts in this manner or style....

Yesterday, I posted the following at Infidel Bloggers Alliance:

I found the above HERE at Geeez!, in her post entitled "What Makes an American?"

I'm sick and tired of BHO's overt and implied apologies for America. He is not standing up for the principles upon which our nation was founded.

--------------------
Today, I stopped by to check on the comments and found this gem left by Avenging Apostate (bio sketch):
All I can say to this is, "ARGH!!!!!! %!@$ *%&@@!!!!

I am sorry but were the Americans that voted him in doped up when they went to the polling stations because only retards would vote for an impotent wuss like him! (I am sorry but this was just too much for me!)
Interesting that someone from outside the United States can clearly see what so many Americans apparently refuse to see. Heh.

I admit that I laughed out loud when I read Avenging Apostate's comment.

But, really, the situation that America is in right now is not funny — not in the least. The Obamanation is a tragedy for all of us.

Oh, This Is Rich!

(with a hat tip to Infidel Bloggers Alliance)

Even as "Muslim civil rights" groups throughout the West push for muslimatoon to exercise the right to wear the veil, a Moslem shopkeeper in Eurabia has had enough of being robbed at veilpoint. Money still apparently talks:

Everyone entering ATAA Jewellers in Glasgow must reveal their faces under planned new rules to protect staff from further attacks.

The store owners decided to act after two Asian men wearing traditional Muslim women's clothes – including niqab veils – made away with thousands of pounds worth of jewellery earlier this month.

[...]

Now the Sadiq family who run the shop are planning to put up a sign informing customers that they cannot wear any headgear that covers the face....
How will the local ummah react to Rukhsana Sadiq's safety measure? He's treading on the toes of fundamentalist Moslems.

Your Weekend Political Cartoon

(Click directly on the image to enlarge it)

That about sums it up!

Of course, some maintain that Obama's shady connections, friendships, relationships, and affiliations don't matter. The adherents, obsessed with "Obama the Uniter," choose to stop up their ears and cover their eyes. In my view, these types of Obama defenders have been drinking the Koolaid and are beyond reasoning with:
Having "drunk the Kool-Aid" also refers to being a strong or fervent believer in a particular philosophy or mission — wholeheartedly or blindly believing in its virtues.
The question now: Have so many voters drunk the Kool-Aid that Obama will be elected on November 4?
